Television Centre Phase 2

Ruddy is pleased to confirm the award of its latest secured contract, associated with the redevelopment of the former BBC Television Centre in White City, London.

Ruddy has been appointed by Multiplex to deliver the joinery works and door package for Phase 2 of the development.

Television Centre Phase 2 comprises two new residential buildings, located between the Hammersmith & City underground line and a live television studio. Designed by Stirling Prize-winning architectural practices dRMM and AHMM, the scheme will deliver 345 apartments across two plots totalling 470,000 sq. ft.

The development will complete the masterplan, providing much needed housing and enhanced public realm for the local community. The creation of a second entrance on Wood Lane, along with new pedestrian access through to Hammersmith Park, will further open up the site for residents and visitors alike.
