St John’s Wood Square Development
Ruddy is delighted to be working once again with Multiplex on one of London’s most prestigious residential developments, having been awarded the general joinery works package for the St John’s Wood Square project in Jan 2026.
Located on the 5.5-acre site of the former St John’s Wood Barracks in Westminster, this landmark redevelopment will transform the former home of the King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, along with properties at 1–7 Queen’s Terrace, into a super-prime residential destination in central London.
The St John’s Wood Square development will deliver a total of 179 new homes, including 11 townhouses, 109 private apartments and 59 affordable homes, arranged across nine buildings ranging from three to six storeys in height. The scheme also includes the sensitive restoration of the Grade II listed Riding School building, ensuring the site’s rich heritage is preserved for future generations.
Completion of the shell and core stage is scheduled for December 2026, with the fit-out works due for completion by December 2028.
