One North Quay

Ruddy are excited to announce they have secured the works contract for the Toilet Fit-Out package @ One North Quay , the latest Canary Wharf Group construction project .

One North Quay is a major landmark under active construction in Canary Wharf. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), it is set to become Europe’s tallest and most advanced purpose-built commercial laboratory building.

One North Quay is the flagship development of the broader North Quay masterplan, a 3.28-hectare site that represents Canary Wharf’s first net-zero carbon district. This shift signals the area’s transformation from a pure finance hub into a global centre for life sciences and technology

Construction Progress: The project is currently under construction following its ground breaking in late 2024. It is progressing as a “vertical campus” aimed at health and life sciences.

Completion Date: The latest projections from New London Architecture (NLA) now indicate a completion window extending into July 2028.

Design & Sustainability: The 23-storey tower is targeting BREEAM Outstanding and WELL Platinum certifications. It features a unique “stack of neighbourhoods” design to promote collaboration between start ups and major pharma firms.

Amenities: Upon completion, it will host over 20,000 sq. ft of amenities, including a ground-floor café and a rooftop terrace with a bar and restaurant offering views across the City of London.
