We are looking to hire into the following roles:

Job position: Bench Joiner

We are looking for a skilled Bench Joiner to join our team in Flitwick. The ideal candidate will have a previous experience working as a Bench Joiner.  Additional, in-house training will be given to competent time served candidates to support continued development and success in the role.

Job details:

  • Location: Flitwick, Bedfordshire
  • Hours: Mon-Thurs 8.00-16.30, Fri 8.00 – 15.30
  • Salary: Competitive – negotiable depending on experience
  • Overtime: may be available at an enhanced rate.

Duties to include but not limited to: 

  • Assembly of joinery and cabinetry related items
  • Ensuring items are finished, sanded, prepared and collated for the next department in line. For example, the spray shop or goods out all via the joinery manager
  • Own hand tools essential including cordless drills
  • Working flexibly across departments, including occasional support in the machine shop or other areas and duties as needed. (This is not always required but does give variation and new experience into the role)

Key skills and requirements:

  • Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings and production information
  • Ability to use wood machines would be a benefit but not necessarily essential
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

Job position: Wood Machinist

We are looking for a skilled Wood Machinist to join our team in Flitwick. The ideal candidate will have a previous experience working as a Wood Machinist. Additional, in-house training will be given to competent time served candidates.

  • Contract: Permanent, Full Time (39hrs/week)
  • Location: Flitwick, Bedfordshire
  • Hours: Mon-Thurs 8.00-16.30, Mon- Thurs, Fri 8.00 – 15.30
  • Salary: Competitive – negotiable depending on experience

Essential skills and experience:

  • Skilled in the use of all classical wood working machinery such as Planer, Thicknesser, Moulder, Spindle Moulder, Tenoner, Saws etc.
  • Hands-on experience in joinery machining and joinery construction is essential.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and read technical drawings is essential.
  • A good level of math is required, as the role involves numerical work and accurate measurements.
  • Committed to adhering to current health & safety legislation in the workplace.
  • An Excellent team player who works cohesively with others to achieve a common goal.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

  • NVQ in wood machining or City & Guilds.

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Producing one-off bespoke pieces as well as high volume units.
  • Working with the production team to establish the best machining method for the task in hand.
  • Working with the production team and tooling suppliers to establish the best machining tools to be used.
  • Communicating any production related discrepancies with your line manager prior to producing items.

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Joiner / Sprayer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop practical skills and learn skilled profession in joinery or spraying.   • Assisting our spray department team with their daily spraying activities.
  • Learning from spray department team with a goal to cover their booths during their holidays or time off.

  • No previous experience is required but basic knowledge or interest in joinery will be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to take instruction.

The spray shop is the end of the line in our manufacture and is a very important part of the complete manufacturing process.

Job position: Factory Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Labourer to join our team. Applicants must be physically capable of performing manual tasks.
